Late Night Procrastination
So I’m up late doing work and I was thinking about Halloween and weddings. I think one of the real big adjustments you make as a couple is no longer thinking in the singular. You have to start thinking as a pair. When I was single, Halloween was pretty easy. You think of a costume and you go out and buy/make one. As a couple, you need to collaborate and discuss and plan out “awesome” collaborative couple costumes. Like one year, our friends Mark and Diem went as Hagar the Horrible and his wife Helga. The girls all thought “aww, that’s so cute” and the guys all thought “wow…that’s so…um…cute!” This year I’ve decided to get into the spirit of things and when Sonia wakes up tomorrow I’m going to suggest that we give out candy to the kids on Friday dressed up. I’m thinking I can be a jailberg and Sonia can be my ball and chain! ~K
